We reach out to the so-called first-world countries, the ones who pride themselves on civilization and human rights.
It is a deep disappointment to witness the hypocrisy and double standards that leave innocent civilians, especially children, vulnerable and unprotected. Are these the values you claim to uphold?
What crime has this child, rescued from the debris, committed? Her only misfortune is to be born in these turbulent times under leaders who disregard basic human dignity.
Your inaction and silence make you complicit. It is time to revisit what true human rights mean and take action to protect the innocent.
