Céline Dion Opens Up About Living with Stiff-Person Syndrome! – video

Céline Dion talked for the first time about living with stiff-person syndrome. This sickness causes painful muscle spasms and has greatly changed her everyday life. She said it feels like parts of her body get “locked,” making it hard to move or sing.

Dion had to cancel her upcoming concerts because of her health problems. She said she loves singing and it’s very hard not to perform. In her talk with Hoda Kotb, Dion explained that the condition affects her throat, making it feel like she’s being strangled, and it also causes spasms in her abdomen and back.

She is feeling better now, but it was a very scary time for her. You can watch the full interview on NBC on June 11 at 10 p.m. ET.
