Japan’s Nihon Hidankyo Honored with Nobel Peace Prize for Anti-Nuclear Weapon Efforts!

In 2024, the Nobel Peace Prize went to Nihon Hidankyo, a group in Japan that says no to nuclear weapons.

This group has people known as Hibakusha, who lived through the bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki in 1945.

They will get the prize on December 10, 2024, in Oslo, Norway. This is to remind everyone how bad nuclear weapons and wars are.

In regions like Gaza and Lebanon, along with concerns about Iran’s and Israel’s nuclear capabilities, intense fighting occurs. Many lives are lost or harmed.

These conflicts often stem from political, religious, or ethnic disagreements. Innocent civilians, particularly children, suffer and live in fear as their homes are destroyed.

Nations and global organizations should offer support, engage in peace talks, and assist those in need. However, how can we collaborate to ensure everyone’s safety and peace while still focusing on issues like racism and ethnicity?
