Kate Middleton has a special connection with her late mother-in-law, Lady Diana. She often honors Diana through her clothes, jewellery, and even her children. For instance, her daughter Charlotte’s middle name is Diana.
After Lady Di’s death, her sons, Harry and William, divided her jewellery. William inherited Diana’s famous engagement ring, an 18-carat sapphire surrounded by 14 diamonds, now worth around 370,000 euros.
William used this ring to propose to Kate, and she now wears it on her left ring finger. For vacations, Kate prefers a simple sapphire band, but in public, she always wears Diana’s ring.
However, there is one piece of Diana’s jewellery that Kate cannot wear: the famous wedding tiara.
This tiara, decorated with 1,000 diamonds and valued at 475,000 euros, remains the property of the Spencer family and will never be worn by Kate.
