Dear Brad Pitt,

Dear Brad Pitt,

Today, October 8, I watched Heart of the Beast, and I honestly don’t know where to begin.

I never expected this film to affect me the way it did.

I felt the pain, the fear, the difficult moments, and above all, I was deeply touched by the dog.

That dog stayed with him through everything. No matter how difficult or dangerous things became, he was there. He didn’t leave. And I cannot explain how much that touched my heart.

But what touched me just as much was the love he gave that dog in return.

Especially the moment when he had to leave him behind. He left him a message, telling him to go towards the road. Even in such a difficult situation, he was thinking about the dog, about giving him a chance to find his way out.

That moment really stayed with me.

Because their loyalty went both ways. The dog would not give up on him, and he would not stop caring about the dog, even when they could no longer stay together.

I kept thinking about how much we can learn from animals. How a dog can love someone so deeply, without expecting anything in return. How he can stay beside you through the worst moments of your life, when sometimes even people don’t.

And that really made me emotional.

I found myself thinking about my own life, about everything I’ve been through, the people, the disappointments, the difficult days, and all the times I had to be strong even when I was hurting inside.

Somehow, watching this film made me see those experiences differently. Things that had felt so heavy in my life suddenly seemed a little smaller.

I don’t know how to explain it. Maybe because I was watching two beings fighting to survive, holding on to each other, and refusing to give up.

And I kept asking myself, why is loyalty sometimes so difficult for human beings, when a dog can give it so naturally?

There were moments when my heart was breaking, and others when I just wanted to smile. I was scared for them, I felt their pain, and I wanted them both to make it.

I wasn’t expecting to feel all of this from a film.

Brad, I don’t know if you will ever read my message. Maybe you won’t. But I wanted to write it anyway, because I believe that when something touches us this deeply, we should say it.

I have seen many films, but this one made me think about my own life long after it ended.

And if there is one thing I will remember, it is that dog. His eyes, his loyalty, and the way he was always there. And I will also remember the man who loved him enough to think of his safety, even when he had to leave him behind.

Sometimes the ones who cannot speak teach us the most about love.

Thank you for this beautiful film and for the feelings it brought out in me.

With love from Kuwait,
