Kate Middleton, Princess of Wales, recently shared an update on her health journey. Six months ago, she announced her cancer diagnosis.
In a new video message, Kate, who is married to Prince William and has three children, revealed she has completed chemotherapy and is focusing on staying “cancer free.”
“Ending chemo as summer ends is such a relief,” Kate, 42, said in the video from Kensington Palace. The past nine months were very tough for her family. They had to navigate many challenges.
Kate’s cancer journey was “complex, scary, and unpredictable.” She mentioned this time made her and William appreciate life’s simple things, like love.
Kate first announced her diagnosis in March, after surgery in January. Details about her specific cancer and treatment remain private.
In her recent video, Kate expressed her desire to slowly return to work and take on more public duties over time.
